Similar to Sambar, Kulambu is widely cooked in South India, and you can use it with rice, or tiffin items like Idly, Dosa, Pongal etc... It is prepared without using Dal, but with some additional spices like Fennel, Clove, Cinnamon etc...and you will relish the tangy taste of tamarind.
