Use: Can be added directly to the formulation during pre- or post-emulsification at or below 60°C (140°F). Common use levels are 0.50-1.5%. For the preservation of simple surfactant products, a dose of 0.5% might be sufficient. This product preserves water and oil-based products.
Application: All kinds of skin & hair care products (incl. emulsions, aqueous and anhydrous systems), wipes, sun care products, & makeup products.
Rinse off Cosmetics such as shampoo, conditioner, face and body wash.
Care Products such as cream, emulsion, lotion, gel and wet wipes.
TIPS: The recommended usage rates are provided only as a guideline to provide proper preservation. Adding at end of emulsion when product is coolest gives best results. All new formulations should be tested to ensure preservative efficacy.
